yes, NAT's enabled, but  I CANT make this router live with a static ip
on my LAN card for port forwarding (a la portforward.com), I can set it,
/release /renew, reboot, cold-boot router, whatever, EVERY time the
router either a: loses its dns server (no connection) or b: totally
ignores whatever I input into the "exceptions/rules" dialog (labelled
"game & application sharing" in alcatel-ese). c: it's dmz doesnt work.
Plus if I blue-screen or reboot forcibly or whatever, it LOSES all my
port-forwarding assignments and reverts to some god knows when setup,
and that is EVEN if I reload a known-good backup config. This thing's a
POS, attempt #2, the first router (same model) I had to RMA as the
wireless side was totally dead. Re: my post on the internet icon on the
tray, btw, it's now vanished again :) What I wanna do now is KILL the
router, use it ONLY as a wireless acccess point, I'll go back to dsl usb
modem and kerio ty :) Not found out how yet ...
