While there have been a few downtimes, it  has been quite reliable.

FWIW:  There is some sort of Comcast "repeater" in front of my house,
on the pole. It requires AC power, something we were a little short of 
recently...

While Comcast DID eventually come around and chain a generator
to that pole, They were EXTREMELY lax in keeping it filled with gas...
I did not measure the "run" and "off" times, but I'll bet it was "down" over
50% of the time...  Even when I warned them (and their dispatcher),
it still took them 4 hours+ to come and gas it up...
Sometimes it ran 12 hours and sometimes as little as 3...(<???>)
(Is the "run time math" REALLY that hard to figure out after it runs dry
a time or two?)  Retorical...  Mine was three hours+ (stable), 24/7.
I got to test my old wind up alarm clock too...
