Did you look to see if "Save as" supports a Word 2000 format choice?
"Word 97-2002 & 6.0/95 - RTF" is not a native .doc format. Likely even more features of the document would be lost or changed when saving to RTF doc format. -----Original Message----- From: Windows Home/SOHO [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Marc Sims Sent: Wednesday, August 02, 2006 12:42 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: Word 2003 to 2000 incompatability That person who created the documents using Word 2003 should save them in Word 2000 format. Marc Sims Data Technician I Prince George's Community College >>> [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wednesday, August 02, 2006 >>> Afternoon all, Here in my office we have a mixture of Office 200 and Office 2003 installations. Generally they can al open and read/write the same documents without issue. However, today our marketing lady told me that she has created some new documents in Word 2003 that use an imbedded image as a letterhead. When this document is opened in Word 2000 the images are not displayed, nor does it give any indication there should be an image present. Is this a known issue or are we doing something daft?
