Not recommended -- my cable company did the telephone thing
and replaced my splitters with new ones. They replaced 4 dual
and one triple at no charge. He also said to use only
screw on ends, the push on ones don't make a good connection.

it's been like centuries since i had cable and used a splitter... with
digital cable, can you split it the same way and if so, will the ones
i used 20 yrs ago work?
