I have a question from a Mac friend that I can not find an answer to. Perhaps someone here can help us out or point us to some documentation?

Here's his question:
"The next major Mac OS upgrade, OS X, ver 10.5, aka Leopard, is due
out next spring. Leopard will be FULLY 64-bit native. (The current
Mac OS X ver 10.4.7, aka Tiger, is PARTIALLY 64-bit.)

What I understand about '64-bit native' OS's is this: The 64-bit
support propagates all the way up to the application layer. Meaning
every app runs 64-bit!

Do you know ... will Vista be fully (or partially) 64-bit native?"

Thanks,
Jim
