You have AVG and Norton installed on the same Win9x machine? Also, you know the "fool me once, fool me twice" thing?

I have turned AVG completely off and can surf the internet, but cannot update any apps. Is there a way to repair?? Can't find anything on google. Heck, I can't even run Spybot because it says I need to run the updater first.. I can't update AVG either. This PC has been sitting for a while.
