I've just said you can physically secure your laptop but keeping it close
by and out of sight when not in use. The opposite of not impossible is
possible. As for working in a higer institution of learning which is not just a
school
environment itself I know very well not to leave anything unattended for no more
than a second.
As for the homework load I didn't say anything about abolishing education at
all which
I don't advocate in the least. To me an education is very important.
The central point was that many students get loaded down with a lot of homework
that's poorly designed by some teachers who don't know how to design useful
homework
that challenges students critical thinking skills and reasoning.

Mr Theory meet Mr. Reality. You work in a school environment
(according to your sig) and know (or should know) that leaving
it unattended, not keeping it out of sight, and not keeping it
close by when not in use, is how many of the laptops at school
are ripped off.

It's just a phrase...

Following that reasoning, might as well just abolish school
altogether.
