I keep a list of all of my registered software keys of both CD and download in a password-protected excel spreadsheet file. I keep it up to date whenever a get new updates asap so that I don't enter the wrong key by mistake.
I have keys for most of my office XP, 2003, 2007 Beta 2 TR software, Quicktime 7 Pro, WP 12, Norton SW, NIS 2006, PowerDVD 7, PKzip, Windows XP Pro, Nero UE 7 and many more. BTW the Office 2007 Beta 2 ($1.50)TR website has a PDF publisher for Office 2007 TR Beta 2 of which you can download and with any other office beta product for the cost of $1.50. I have yet to install it and try it out. Its not listed on the main page since its a pay or play deal. http://www.microsoft.com/office/preview/beta/testdrive.mspx?showIntro=n Marc Sims Data Technician I Prince George's Community College >>> [EMAIL PROTECTED] Monday, September 18, 2006 >>> At 10:16 AM 9/18/2006, Kylde typed: >lol, you've been dugg: ><http://www.digg.com/software/Retrieve_Serial_Numbers_or_CD_Keys_from_your_computer> I was trying not to have to install .Net 2.0 but I knew I would have to sometime. What's weird is that MSFT Money 2001 & MapPoint 2006 report the same exact key when neither needed a key to be installed so I wonder what I'm seeing is some sort of generic key. >Air Force 1? Sorry but Roger is correct with "Blue Thunder". Does anyone actually try to keep a list of all the keys they use on their system or does everyone just rely on their backups providing they do one? I see that <http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/product_cd_key_viewer.html> has a nice little viewer but it's not nearly as complete as either of the previously mentioned items but they also have many password recovery tools as well. ----------+---------- Wayne D.
