I might be the one Kylde is thinking of...
I had gotten that file from MajorGeeks, and the same day I got it
I tried to use it. I was told it was expired...
So this is "OK?", but don't stash it away for a rainy day, and never
"count on it" if you take it somewhere to use. I used to "take-with"
all sorts of Norton stuff to "un-trash" things Norton related...
(I drilled for it at Norton when I needed it...)
I was/am good at that, but became "Norton Free" (myself and the wife)
for the last year or so... In all fairness, I never did have BIG
Norton problems (myself), but FWIW, I tended to install "a year behind",
and I think that was a HUGE part of why I was so lucky...
