Does the computer in which you downloaded and tried to install vista on
running either Windows 98, ME or any other variant of 9x?
Maybe you can't install it on a PC with Windows 9x on it.

When I opened the message, I found that Marc Sims had written:

I was finally able to get to the site on my wife's computer.
Downloaded the file. Then it we clicked on "run" and it said the installation
failed. Which was the same error I received when I tried to install it.
What's up with this thing?
