i use stamps.com, with a $5 service plan. I probably don't mail enough
to make it worthwhile, but it does beat going to the PO. I don't know
if you can get that plan anymore - i have several friends who were
told they needed to upgrade to a $10/mo plan. So far they haven't
moved me up - and i hope they never do - it's very convenient.
