The "DSL" port of a DSL filter is just a straight-through connection to
the input or "line" port of the filter. To keep the filters small and low cost,
no low-pass filtering is used, just high frequency filtering. This is
sufficient to keep any high frequency 'noise' generated by phone
devices from interfering with the DSL modem.
