I used tinyurl until a couple years ago when it was down for more than a
day. At that time I started using snipurl and haven't had any reason to
change back.

It has absolutely *nothing* to do with features.

Although I must say, snipurl's clean home page, devoid of advertising, is
certainly more appealing.

Just wondering if there was any reason why you prefer snipurl to tinyurl ?

I know that tinyurl now has a preview feature
<http://tinyurl.com/preview.php> that takes a user to the tinyurl
website & displays the longer url for the most paranoid among us
after all we can't expect MSFT to protect us from everything.

I see that snipurl tries to access ones clipboard which could save
time but could be also construed as troublesome but overall it seems
that snipurl has many more features than tinyurl. If there is a
particular feature that you like would you please share?

TIA
