Set the document size in printing preferences to 8 ½ X 11 of which 300dpi is
good
for most documents. It should scale out evenly keeping the aspect ratio to %100
normal size document with 10 point.

When I scan something (i.e. a sales receipt) at 300dpi it looks large on my
screen but when I print it, it comes out small. What print setting do I need
to tweak?
