Wireless USB is promised as the Next Big Thing. But there don't
appear to be any consumer products available now. At least I could
not find any in a quick search.

The closest you could come now would be to plug the pvr into a usb
network server and plug the server into an 802.11 wireless access
point which would connect to a wireless hub/router-- probably more
trouble than it's worth unless you really, really need wireless
connectivity.
