The URI handler vulnerability applies to IE versions 6 and others
as the http://secunia.com/advisories/19738/ site states:
"The vulnerability has been confirmed on a fully patched system with Internet
Explorer 6.0 and Microsoft Windows XP SP2. Other versions may also be affected."
The solution is to turn off active scripting support.
