Thanks for the heads up. I have one close to what you describe. I get
a tab with something on it but when I went to bookmark it the name
disappeared so all I have is an icon & that site is
<http://en-us.www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/2.0/releasenotes/>.
With the tab showing the page at the above URL, I clicked Bookmarks >
Bookmark this page.
An "Add Bookmark" window popped up to allow me to add the bookmark where
I wished, and I clicked "OK".
IOW, worked fine for me.
