It is old and slow, but it is twice as fast as my Satellite Pro 400, which is still doing useful ham radio work. I've already stuck too much into it, but I'll get some use out of it.
The Win2K installer reported the full size of the drive when booted from CD, so I thought maybe the OS could bypass the bios drive size limit. It doesn't matter now, since I bought a 6 GB drive and I'll stop spending money on it.
