If I understand things correctly, then Winamp does (somewhat?) the same thing as
WMP. I've a couple of concerns with Winamp: one, when I started the 
installation I
got a warning that it was trying to access a protected area of memory* and, 
two, it
is owned by AOL.

Do folks on this list prefer/use WMP, Winamp, or ? Many thanks...

*If I recall correctly, this is a security feature available with some AMD CPUs.
