Not true. WinXP won't create a FAT32 partition larger than 32GB, because
NTFS is available and is a  much better choice. But Win98 and other
things will create huge FAT32 partitions, in to the hundreds of
gigabytes, and WinXP will have no problem at all using those partitions.
The theoretical maximum size for a FAT32 partition is something like 8
terabytes, but FAT32 doesn't really scale all that well.
