Just bought a new Palm TREO 700p and while trying to install the Palm
Desktop s/w, I got the error messages at
http://www.mytempdir.com/1054219 and http://www.mytempdir.com/1054220
I looked up the first error message on the Web and got lots of hits, but
nothing seemed to help.
Palm claims this is a Windows problem.
On the CD is what I believe is isscript11.msi I have a folder c:\program
files\common files\installshield\driver\11
My computer runs XP Pro SP2.
I have an old version of the Palm software installed and this installer
wants to use the same folder.
The Hot Sync of the old version does not work with the Hot Sync of the
TREO. That is, when I start Hot Sync on the TREO, nothing happens on the PC.
