I was just following orders, installation instructions. With sp3
windows would ask if I wanted to keep or replace the renamed
MPC file, now it just restores the original.
I think it might be necessary for for some streaming content to
believe it is using Windows Media Player and that is the reason
for the file substitution ploy.
