Karen - The reseller ratings tell it all. In the 'bargain hunting' community, of which I am a card carrying member, eCost and rebates are anathema. My experience is that if you get your rebate at all, it will be after much travail and many phone calls.
If you decide to make this purchase, be absolutely SURE you dot the i's and cross the t's, and MAKE COPIES OF YOUR ENTIRE REBATE submission, including the stamped, addressed envelope you submit it in.
