This is per quoted from the Symantec.com web site in Norton Save and Restore:

"Configure automatic management of backup storage

1 In the Status pane, click Manage Backup Storage.
2 In the lower-right corner, click Options.
3 Check Monitor disk space usage for backup storage, and then drag the slider
to choose the amount of disk space to be used for backup storage.
If you choose to use all disk space, Norton Save & Restore lets you know when
the disk reaches 90 percent of its capacity.
4 Do one of the following:

If you want Norton Save & Restore to notify you when the storage size that you
specified is exceeded, click Warn me when backup storage exceeds threshold.
If you want Norton Save & Restore to manage the storage space without prompting
you, click Automatically optimize storage.
When you select this option, Norton Save & Restore automatically deletes old
recovery points and limits file versions so that backup storage stays within
the limit that you set. You will not be prompted to do anything.
5 Click OK."

Hi,
I have Norton Save & Restore. Checking the folder I see about 35
files containing backup information all the way back to 9/6/2006
which I probably when I installed it.

I don't see any way in the option box to delete older backups. Did
I miss an option or can I just delete older folders? Three of the
folders are >19 GB, others are smaller. Am I correct in assuming
that these large folders are the main backup while the others are
just interim updates.

Thanks.
