Strawberry Perl Professional Alpha 2 has now been released.
It's based on the July 2010 Beta 2 release of Strawberry Perl 5.10.1,
and does three major things:
1) It refreshes all included modules, in preparation for including
better graphical tools in Alpha 3.
2) It adds Frozen Bubble - to show that Perl can even do games well.
3) It includes new capabilities in the installer that have been included
in the last 2 versions of Strawberry Perl.
It is downloadable at http://strawberryperl.com/beta/ in both .msi and
.zip formats.
The next release should include better graphical tools for
configuration, viewing of POD, and module installation, as well as being
based on Perl 5.12 instead of Perl 5.10.
Feel free to suggest any other changes you feel might be neccessary.
