OK, I've patched up the mandrake .src.rpm with these changes, and
rebuilt everything.  They're up at http://www.opennms.org/~ben/ --
bandwidth is supplied by Atipa, so it should be decently fast.  :)

Just a few notes, I had to change a few lines in the openwall (-secure
kernel) patch.  I just had to remove an #include patch, so it was just
easier to pull it from the patch and then re-tar it up...  It's now
linux-2.2.17-ow1-w4l.tar.bz2 instead of linux-2.2.17-ow1.tar.bz2.  Other
than that it should be pretty much following along with your notes.

I've booted the 2.2.17-w4l one just fine on my box, alsa works, as well
as reiserfs, just fine.  I don't have PCMCIA or SMP, so I haven't tried
them, if anyone wants to test them out that would be great, but I don't
see why there would be problems.  Have fun!
