Users, Mr. Pitzer, Ms. Owens,

        Now that you've had a chance to look at the single incompatibility that
the SuSE 2.2.14smp patch has with the SuSE 2.2.16 kernel, when do you
think that you'll be able to release a patch?  As I said before, I'll be
happy to test it for you since I need that setup anyway.

        If your development staff is swamped with the imminent release of 2.0
and working things out with Red Flag Linux, perhaps we could cooperate
on this?  I know some folks as SuSE Inc. and could probably land a
couple hours of a kernel-hacker's time.  The current bastardized install
of SuSE 7.0 on top of the SuSE 2.2.14 kernel is causing me many problems
and I'd be willing to expend a little time (and money) to get it fixed.
