The NeTraverse people do seem hell-bent to prove that having a
superior product doesn't make you a winner.  Seems odd that a company
producing a piece of software who's biggest 'raison d'etre' is to
allow people to transition from one OS to another to be so
ill-documented and so clumsy in installation.

This is one of the reasons I don't use grub.  There's just too much
potential for cross-matching.  None of this exists in lilo.conf.  Glad
you figured out your problem.
