I saw the post about patching the Mandrake 2.2.17 kernel, but this involves downloading a vanila kernel. Has anyone managed to patch a standrad Mandrake Kernel yet, without losing the Mandrake optimisations? When I received my copy of win4lin 1, there was talk of turning the kernel patches into loadable modules - is there any timetable available?
