I have thought about that, we also looked at using this method to manage
Beowulf clusters, but when it got down to the details of it and its impact on
flexibility - particularly upgrades where for example you install an
application and then go back and sort out the links, I have so far discounted
it. Again, I would be interested in the views from anyone that has tried
this.

I think Andrew Chan summed it up nicely, Network Neighborhood and Printing
services - From a normal users viewpoint.
