Win4lin does not require dosemu at all. In fact, we install a "dos" in /bin
that is different from the dosemu executable /usr/bin/dos. The problem is
that you used alien to create your RPM, and installed it, but the post_install
script did not run.

I am not an "alien" or dpkg expert, but there should be something called
/opt/win4lin/postinst_rpm.sh. As super user, you need to run this shell
script, but first undo any manual symlinking or anything else you might
have done.

Good luck. BTW, you didn't mention anything about how you got a win4lin
ready kernel. This is a pre-requisite to installing and running windows.
