I don't know about the packaged set, but here is what I did to upgrade
from a beta version (with help from the mailing list):
1. Patch 2.2.18 kernel with Kernel-Win4Lin2-2217.patch
2. Execute 'alien -d Win4Lin-5.1.0ga-1.i386.rpm'
3. Execute '/opt/win4lin/postinst_rpm.sh'
4. Copy license to /var/win4lin/install.
Trelos/Netraverse supplied debs for Version 1 and the betas, but for
some (as yet unexplained) reason has not done so for Version 2. The
install script did not work for me, nor did using the --scripts option
of alien.
