Just a success story to share.
I was one of the people having trouble with Error 24. Well, I got a "clean"
copy of windows 98, loaded that CD and ran setup. It went off without a
hitch. I'm running windows under Linux. I'm using an eval. version of
Win4Lin at the moment, but have pretty much convince my boss to buy a copy
for me since I'm going to be supporting an Access database. Thanks for a
great product Netraverse.
One note: after installation had completed (and I had restarted several
times), the little "Installing Windows" box stayed on the screen, and when I
finally did a normal shutdown out of windows, it said "Install failed, user
cancelled." Or something like that. But I started windows back up, and all
worked well, so I'm not complaining, just an FYI.
See ya'll.
