How do I "properly" setup the DISPLAY environment?
Is it an environment variable?
What value should it be?
The Win4lin version 1.0 Release Notes states under Operational Tips:
The commands winsetup, win, and /bin/dos all requires that
the DISPLAY environment variable be set properly as is
required by all X client applications.
I have not been able to find anything about how to do this
after looking at the XFree86.org home page and the Win4lin documentation.
Would someone please explain what this is all about?
I'm familiar with environmental variable but don't know what the proper settings
would be.
