I'm guessing that you will have to do the same thing
I did with my 880C on my HP Jetdirect, and that is to
install the networkable drivers.  Instead of using the 
setup.exe program to install the printer, drill down on the 
CD or driver set, and look for the .inf file.  
(Use the add new printer wizard, and then when it asks
you for the type, tell it "have disk", browse to the .INF file,
and then select your printer when it gets the type out of
the inf file).
