I tried to install a new scanner via a USB port and Windows was unable to find it. Is USB not suppoted? The mouse is USB and works fine. And, Windows is still unable to find my com 1 port. I set it up in the Win4Lin setup program and that seemed to go ok. But when I go to Windows to set up the modem --- com1 is not there. I am able to get a tcp/ip connection through Linux and that works for Windows so I can get to the internet. It would be nice to see Windows find the com port. Any ideas????
