Hi all,

since today i'm able to run win4lin 2.0 eval with my compaq armada e500
notebook. There is a lucent winmodem (pci -> irq 11 and virtual serial
device) in it, which runs under linux (Debian testing/unstable, kernel
2.2.18) since a few weeks with the binary driver from lucent!

It's possible to use my 'linmodem' with win4lin?! Here are a few settings,
how the linmodem is known under the linux-system:

ThessyMobil:~# cat /proc/tty/drivers
serial /dev/cua 5 64-67 serial:callout
serial /dev/ttyS 4 64-67 serial
lucent /dev/ttyLT 62 64 serial
pty_slave /dev/pts 136 0-255 pty:slave
pty_master /dev/ptm 128 0-255 pty:master
pty_slave /dev/ttyp 3 0-255 pty:slave
pty_master /dev/pty 2 0-255 pty:master
/dev/tty0 /dev/tty0 4 0 system:vtmaster
/dev/ptmx /dev/ptmx 5 2 system
/dev/console /dev/console 5 1 system:console
/dev/tty /dev/tty 5 0 system:/dev/tty
unknown /dev/tty 4 1-63 console
ThessyMobil:~# cat /proc/tty/driver/lucent
serinfo:1.0 driver:5.78
0: uart:Lucent port:3800 irq:11 baud:9600 tx:0 rx:0 DSR

How i have to create the device definition? Under 'System Wide Configuration'
and 'Custom' i think!? And then? Direct or Virtual Attach?

Thanx in advance for any hint...
Thomas
