What causes this message? I have a toshiba laptop; I just installed alsa sound and pcmcia support. This involved recompiling the kernel several times; now I get this message immediately upon trying to start win4lin. RH 7, 2.2.18 kernel (stock, kernel.org) toshiba 2800 laptop. Any pointers?
