Mike: I guess my question about v3.0 of Win4Lin is that I received the upgrade from v1 to v2 and I've been having constant tcp/ip problems that have made Win4Lin very unreliable. I went back and forth w/Netraverse support for about 3 weeks before it was determined that my problem was related to a bug in the tcp/ip implementation in Win4Lin (support rep's words, not mine). I've been waiting for a fix from support, but now I find out that v3.0 is coming out and that it MIGHT correct my problem. I guess what I want to know is if I'm going to have to pay for v3.0?? I don't think I should have to since my problems are related to a bug in Win4Lin. I really don't need the Windows Networking functionality offered in v3.0, I just need a reliable tcp/ip stack that doesn't crash.
