I had the similar problem with yours. The machine had a Nvidia
velocity 128 video card and Redhat 6.2 with XFree86-3.3.6. It seems
not a win4lin problem, instead it is a X sever problem since I saw the
trailing images when dragging mouse in gnome/sawmill desktop, too. I
solved this problem by upgrading to XFree86-4.0.2.
