Hello, all, I have been running Win4Lin since version 1.0 with no problems. Recently, I have upgraded by old pentium box to an Athalon 900Mhz ASUS MB running RH 7.0, which is the stock distribution. I ran the install scripts provided by Netravese, followed all directions, etc. The install went flawlessly, along with the individual Windows User setup. The license.txt file is recognized with no problem. Now for the problem; when I open a terminal window and type "win &" the normal startup scenario cranks up, but then a message flashes along the lines of (it flashes very quickly) "KERNAL386: file does not exist." I have tried re-installing Windows (Win98SE) per the install guide but alas, its the same problem. I can start DOS from the terminal window with no problem. If I type "win" from the DOS prompt I get a message stating "Windows has successfully shutdown - it is now safe to power off your PC." This message comes back immediately after typing "win" and then the DOS prompt returns. Am I missing something needed for RH 7? Any suggestions, clues, etc. would be greatly appreciated.
