does this look like a real, live ethernet card, or is there juju with the 
libraries?  i ask because i am compelled to use a VPN client that runs as a 
driver.  e.g. it shims itself between the tcp/ip stack and the enet 
card.  will this work for 3.0?  if it does, i can scrap my vmware, since 
that is all i use it for right now.
