Though Acrobat Reader 4.0 seems to work without problem, the latest
5.0.1 (03/27/01) fails. It starts up, then freezes; the splash screen shows
"Initializing DocBox.Api...". CPU utilization on this Pentium Pro 200/256
box rises (per ktop) to 90% or so, and it doesn't drop until I kill Win95 (SP1).
Adobe's shows this to be the appropriate version for Windows 95, but
it's the same one intended for Windows NT 4.0. Has anyone got it working under
Win4Lin? I'm currently running 5.1.1f-1 under Caldera eDesktop 2.4 (custom
kernel).
