This was considered, and suffice it to say we decided to go with download 
only. This is a point we're willing to
stand firm on. As for the manual, it will be available online, and in .pdf 
format.

There is not yet a long term upgrade strategy and I don't know if we'll see 
one in the near future. I would expect
there will come a time when upgrades will come at some price. The best 
advice I can give here, is present upgrade
policies should not be used to judge what will happen with future releases. 
We will make every attempt to do what is
right for everyone involved.
