I'm running the driver from NVidia with "Option "backingstore"" in my
XF86Config-4 and notice in the log that:
(WW) NVIDIA(0): Option "backingstore" is not used
But a little further down:
(**) NVIDIA(0): Option "BackingStore"
(**) NVIDIA(0): Backing store enabled
Confusing, but it seems to be working.
