Another nice thing about tight vnc is that you can "split" the stream into
two displays. For example, I have a terminal in the kitchen running
tight-vnc displaying either a linux destop off my server or a win4lin
desktop. From my workstation, I can attach my client to the vnc server
and see and interact with it while the terminal in the kitchen is also
doing this (an iopener). Regular vnc used to break the connection with
the existing client when another client connects
