Methinks we look too hard for things to bash Windows over. I'm not
sure what a "minimal system" consists of but it's VERY easy to mediate
what does/doesn't get installed with Windows during a normal setup
installation. Under Win4lin it really is a good idea to eliminate a
lot of the stuff as the Linux synonyms for many of the applications
are far better and thus there's no reason to install the Windows
versions. There's also lots of stuff that won't be used simply
because you're running under an emulation. That stuff can be excluded
as well.
