Nobody is pulling a fast one. There is a eval version available once you
sign into the members only section. It may not be quite as intuitive, but
it's something that can be changed.
Before the threads kick up. The upgrade is still not up there. Here is why.
Last week, I laid out the sequence of events. Due to a bit of inside knowledge
and a touch of blind faith, things are playing out.
Here is some additional information for those craving it. The new site you
see,
as well as the online purchase went through a testing process end of last
week and
this past weekend. But there were still last minute items that needed to be
fixed after the site
was pushed live today. The web team spent most of their holiday weekend making
repairs so that our site could be rolled out, and we could sell our product
from our
own site today.
The upgrade pages will also go through a testing process in an effort to
catch a majority of
the problems before you see them.
Now all focus is on getting the finishing touches the upgrade stuff. I
realize the debate, arguments,
and grief surrounding the issues of missed dates and availability of the
update versus the retail
version. It would have been nice to have the upgrade first, or at the exact
same time. It didn't happen
that way. It's time to move on and it's time for support and myself to put
effort into supporting Win4Lin 3.0.
Regards,
Mike
