I too am having difficulties getting and IP via DHCP. I upgraded from
Win4Lin 2 and used the win_network -v command to switch over to VNET. I
followed the instuctions on how to setup the Merge adaptor but DHCP fails
for me. If I assign a static IP then the only network access I get is
within the Win4Lin 3 session (e.g. I can ping myself but nothing else on
the network, this includes my host pc).

Any suggestions from others that may have found a way to get this working?

I know this question wasn't directed at myself but I have a situation where
the Winsock networking in Win4Lin keeps running out of buffers. We use a
CVS server to keep track of source code changes and it is the CVS client in
the Win4Lin session that is playing up with Winsock networking. VNET was
going to be my saviour but I cannot get it working yet.

Once again any tidbits of advice are most welcome.
