I've followed the many e-mails about Win4Lin3 with interest, but the
interest is academic as the Win4Lin installer isn't working for me.
It keeps saying I'm not connected to the Internet. My Internet
connection from this machine is through a LAN to a server. The proxies
are correctly set up - everything else except the W4L installer
recognises them, but the Win4Lin installer seems only to look for a
direct connection and then, when it doesn't find one, gives up.
How can I get it to recognise the HTTP_PROXY and FTP_PROXY environmental
variables, or how else can I point it in the right direction?
System is SuSE 7.2, custom kernel 2.2.18 (want to upgrade) and Win4Lin 2
